Aaron Allison Clinches 2017 NHRA Championship and Sportsman Driver of the Year Title!

Macedonia resident, Aaron Allison, was recently named the 2017 NHRA Division 3 Sportsman Driver of the Year in addition to winning the 2017 NHRA Super Stock Division 3 championship after a long and successful racing season. Allison also won the same championship during the 2016 racing season—which is an unprecedented accomplishment.  This is the sixth Divisional Championship that Aaron Allison has won in his drag racing career.

With a first-place victory in Reynolds, GA, and a runner-up finish in Columbus, OH Aaron finished the racing season in first place out of 173 Division 3 competitors in the Super Stock Class of Drag Racing. In addition to his successful racing season in Super Stock, Aaron also finished in second place out of 207 Division 3 competitors in the Stock Class of Drag Racing, which includes a first place finish at the Lucas Oil Raceway points meet that took place in Indianapolis, IN in August.

About Aaron Allison: Aaron has competed on a national level in IHRA and NHRA competition since 2001. During this time, Aaron has won six divisional championships and numerous top ten finishes in the world standings.  A graduate of Harvard Business School, and Kettering University’s Mechanical Engineering program, Aaron Allison is currently the President and CEO of Polaris Systems—an industrial packaging and consulting firm. Aaron currently lives in Macedonia, OH with his wife, Misti, and his 2 year old son, Blake.
