Ordinance 55-2017 passed. The city of Macedonia will enter into a contract with Specialized Construction (1.6 million) for the repair of roads on the first list to be repaved and or repaired. The roads that will be paved this year: Barkdale Lane, Laurel Drive, Roseland Drive, Macedonia Commons Boulevard, Sioux Lane, Skyland Drive, South Skyland Drive, Summer Road, and Waters Drive. Spot asphalt repairs will be performed as needed on other streets throughout the City.
Ordinance 56-2017 was held at its first reading. The ordinance requires a public hearing which is scheduled for July.
The ordinance authorizes an amendment of the Northfield Center Township – Macedonia Joint Economic Development District Agreement (JEDD) regarding the addition of 2.1001 acres of land for the construction of a new Dunkin Donuts. The two parcels of land are west of Giant Eagle on Rt 82.
