A biography and background of your residency in the area, years
1. I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and have lived in the 37th State House District for over 4 years. From an early age growing up in Geauga County, my family instilled in me the values of community service, integrity and hard work. My education has further reinforced those same values, beginning with my time as an elementary school student in Middlefield at Cardinal Local Schools and throughout my middle and high school years at University School (in Shaker Heights and Hunting Valley). From there I went on to graduate from The Ohio State University in 3 years with a B.S. in Personal Finance.
2. Employment history and political offices previously held
For the past seven years I have been a co-owner of North Coast Sales and Maintenance, a janitorial distribution company based in Middlefield. More recently, I have also served as the President of North Coast and prior to that as a financial advisor to another local minority-owned janitorial company with employees in over 5 states. My volunteer experiences have also allowed me to give back to the community, particularly my service as an Auxiliary Officer with The Ohio State Highway Patrol and a board member for a number of nonprofit and community organizations.
3. The reason you are seeking the office you are running for
I am seeking this office because today’s challenges require a different type of thinking and a different type of leader. I am not a politician. Instead, I am a second-generation small business owner who will fight for our community in Columbus. My platform is simple – strengthen the economy, create jobs, and keep our communities strong. I look forward to meeting you in the months ahead to discuss my plan for a more prosperous Ohio.
