Northfield Center Public Forum – Buildings and Parks

Northfield Center — On Thursday, May 23rd, between 6 and 7:30 p.m., the trustees of Northfield Center Township will be hosting a public forum, in the Fenton Room of the Nordonia Hills Branch Library (9458 Olde 8 Rd), to secure resident feedback regarding the following:

1) Proposed changes/enhancements to the Township’s existing park areas (Beacon Hills and Crestwood);

2) Options for enhancing the Town Hall, which may include renovation and repurposing OR demolition of the existing building Town Hall and Safety buildings AND construction of a new Town Hall structure (which would incorporate a new fire station).

The current state of the existing Town Hall and Safety Building structures, coupled with the Township’s desire to provide its staff and residents with far more functional, energy efficient, safe, and accessible buildings to undertake Township business, has prompted this discussion. Similarly, the Township desires to create viable park spaces that will provide residents with safer and better recreational opportunities.
