Ilene Shapiro was sworn in as Summit County Executive in a ceremony at the John S. Knight Center Thursday evening, January 5, 2017. She is the fifth executive and the first woman to hold the office. The Honorable Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer administered the Oath of Office.
