I want to thank Kathy and Brad Pallaise, Ray Champlin, Crystal Champlin, Holly Champlin and Dakota Deary for their help this past Sunday at the Manor. They planted flowers and spread mulch and moved the Colonel’s bird bath which has been hidden on the North lawn to the front yard of the Manor where it can be seen.
I have also made a memorial around the Colonel’s sun dial which is on the North lawn.
Kathy Pallaise lived in the cottage with her mother the last two years Colonel Long was living there. She has many memories of the Colonel to share and is devoted to preserving his home. See related article here.
