Lost Cell Phone Not Password Protected – City of Macedonia Police Reports for 6/6/19 – 6/22/19

On 6/30-19 at Macedonia Police were dispatched to a residence who had lost her cellphone. The resident was concerned about her lost cellphone especially since it was not password protected.

The resident last remembered seeing her cellphone when she placed it on the roof of her car. She does not remember taking it off the roof.  She then drove to a park in Streetsboro and could not find her it in her car or purse. When she arrived back home she called Macedonia Police. Two police officers helped search her car, residence, surrounding property and along the route she took leaving the city. After being unable to locate the item, she was advised to report the lost phone to her service center, AT&T. She stated that the cellphone had a cash app on the phone and it was also tied to her Paypal account. When trying to call her cellphone, the line continually rings until the voicemail prompt is triggered.
