Nonsense in the NEWS – “What’s in your pants” from the Macedonia Police Reports

Taken from a Macedonia Police Report

At approximately 1508 hours I was dispatched to a store for an individual in custody for shoplifting.

Upon arrival, I meet with the Loss Prevention employee and the suspect already in custody. The Loss Prevention employee stated he observed the individual in the rear of the store by the electronics, tear a Sandisk 200 off of a locked cabinet and conceal it in his pocket. The individual then walked over by the sporting goods where he took a Crossman BB gun off of the rack and began cutting the package off with a pocket knife. The suspect continued down the toy aisle where he was observed concealing the BB gun down the front of his pants. The suspect dropped the package behind some toys and proceeded to the counter at automotive where he purchased an ashtray. After purchasing the ashtray, the individual passed all points of sales and exited through the general merchandise doors failing to pay for the items concealed on his person. The Loss Prevention employee approached the individual about the items concealed on his person at which time he admitted to taking a BB gun and a scan disk.

The individual was transported back to Macedonia City Jail where he was booked and charge through Mayor’s Court for theft (M-1), and possession of criminal tools (M-1).
