As great as that was, there were two other things happened at the game. One was planned and one was not.

Some of the middle school “Knights for the night” attended the game and were honored at halftime.

The students that were honored were: Jensen Stehlik, Elyse Chilton, Alicia Skillern, and Jayla Morgan.

The activity that was not planned happened when the Nordonia Mascot was interacting with the crowd and encouraged some kids to shoot some hoops. One of the kids, Luke Brumfield, starting shooting baskets and made most of them.

Luke is a first grader who is in the Nordonia Youth League for Basketball and this is his second year playing.

Watch him in action here. He shot more than 20 shots and made most of them!
