Nordonia Knights Varsity Softball: Hallie Majoros Shuts Out Cuyahoga Falls

Hallie Majoros shut down Cuyahoga Falls, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Nordonia Knights Varsity to a 11-0 victory on Monday Kendall Becker led Nordonia Knights Varsity to victory by driving in five runs. She went 3-for-3 at the plate. Becker drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a triple in the fifth. Nordonia Knights Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Lexi Maciejowski’s sac fly scored one run for Nordonia Knights Varsity.

Nordonia Knights Varsity notched six runs in the fifth inning. Majoros, Grace Barth, Kayla Buck, and Becker all drove in runs in the frame. A single by Steiner in the fifth inning was a positive for Cuyahoga Falls. Majoros led things off on the hill for Nordonia Knights Varsity. She allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking zero. Rogers toed the rubber for Cuyahoga Falls. She surrendered 11 runs on 12 hits over five innings, striking out two and walking one.

Nordonia Knights Varsity tallied 12 hits on the day. Becker, Majoros, Buck, and Nina Christley all managed multiple hits for Nordonia Knights Varsity. Majoros and Becker each managed three hits to lead Nordonia Knights Varsity. Nordonia Knights Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Christley made the most plays with nine. Steiner went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Cuyahoga Falls in hits.
