Nordonia Softball: Hudson Captures Lead Early To Defeat Nordonia Knights Varsity

Nordonia Knights Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-0 loss to Hudson on Thursday. Hudson took the lead on an error in the first inning.

Hudson got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for Hudson.

One bright spot for Nordonia Knights Varsity was a single by Jordyn Dean in the first inning.
Roukey led things off on the rubber for Hudson. She lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out eight and walking zero.

Hallie Majoros started the game for Nordonia Knights Varsity. She surrendered five runs on eight hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out six. Rachel Cornett threw one-third of an inning in relief.

Dean led Nordonia Knights Varsity with two hits in three at bats.

Hudson collected eight hits. Roukey and Masich each collected multiple hits for Hudson. Roukey went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hudson in hits. Hudson was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Madar made the most plays with eight.
