Nordonia will start the search for a boys basketball coach after coach Kirk Culler announced his resignation to players and parents Thursday April 21st. Coach Culler’s decision was based on his inability to secure a full time teaching position in the district. Throughout the entire 2015-2016 season, he taught in Lakewood and raced to Macedonia each day after classes to attend games and practices. Doing that for a 2nd year was just too much.
The Knights went 4-19 in coach Culler’s only season at the helm. Nordonia’s Athletic Director Rob Eckenrode will attempt to find the right fit to lead a Nordonia program that contains talent at every grade level.
