The Northfield Village Firefighters Association is proud to sponsor the NVFFA Fire Service Scholarship.
Two $500 scholarships will be given out. In order to be considered for the scholarship here are the requirements set forth by the Association.
- You must be going into the Fire/EMS field of study.
- Each person wishing to apply for the scholarship must turn in an Essay of no less than 500 words on why they want to pursue the Fire/EMS field.
- The top five candidates will be brought in for interviews and from those, two winners will be chosen.
- Essays can be mailed to the fire department or dropped off in person.
- Essays must be handed in or received by mail by May 25th 2019
- Winners will receive their scholarship after showing proof of enrollment in a Fire/EMS program. The winners will be presented their scholarships at a village council meeting TBD.
