Obituary: Benjamin J. Banasiak

Benjamin J. Banasiak, age 94 of Northfield Center, Ohio, passed away on October 6, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Elynor (nee Guarnieri); loving father of Karen (Peter) Smith; cherished grandfather of Brian (Melanie) Costa and Daniel Costa; caring great-grandfather of Brendan, Sophia, and McKenzie; dear brother of Henry and Stanley Banasiak; and much loved godfather to his “special angel” Casey Grismer. Ben proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during WWII. In his later years, Ben became active in the Macedonia Senior Center’s “Out to Lunch Bunch”. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Rd, Northfield Center, OH 44067. ALL ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH.
