Obituary: JAMES ARTHUR KRAUSE

JAMES ARTHUR KRAUSE, Sagamore Hills, passed away peacefully March 29,2018,at age 83. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Veronica, his wife Jeanette (nee Celikovich), and his siste Jean Goga. He was the cherished father of William (Nichola) Krause, Beth Faleris, and Amy Boukair; proud grandfather of Joshua Boukair, Kathryn and Mitchell Krause, and Chance and Griffin Faleris, devoted friend and companion of Sue Baker. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends. James served in the U.S.M.C. during the Korean War from 1952-1955, 3rd MAW,MAG 31, VMA 331, where he earned the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and received an honorable discharge at the rank of Sergeant. James was a 1960 graduate of Fenn College (CSU); B.M.E. He worked as an engineer for American Greetings Corp for 35 yrs. After retirement, he dedicated volunteer efforts to Camp Cheerful in Strongsville,Ohio. James was a devout Catholic and a former Guardian in the St.Barnabas Perpetual Adoration Chapel Ministry. His kindness and friendship extended to all who knew him,and he will be greatly missed.
