Obituary: SHIU K. “TARSAN” YOUNG

SHIU K. “TARSAN” YOUNG Age 75, passed away suddenly Sunday, November 19, 2017. Born in China in 1942, he dedicated his life in the United States to teaching Chinese herbal healing, philosophy, QiGong and Bak Mei Kung-Fu. His love for food and cooking allowed him to own several restaurants in his career. He was proudly a Freemason, a Lifetime Member of NRA and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Judy Bing Ling. Father to Pauline Young, Gordon Young, Shauna Young-Perkins (Tony), Emily Young (Edward Cornett) and Rita Closson (Brad). Grandfather to 5 grandchildren. Master, SiFu and teacher to many. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude PLace, Memphis Tn. (stjude.org). Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 WEST AURORA RD. (Rt 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2017 from 1-4PM. Private family internment at West Park Cemetery.
