On Monday 09/09/2019, at approximately 23:03 hours (11:03 pm),a Northfield Village police officer while on routine patrol, observed a tan Chevy Impala leaving the Sunoco Gas Station in Northfield Village with a possible fictitious blank Ohio temporary tag on the rear appearing to have expired in July. The police officer activated the overhead lights and sirens to conduct a traffic enforcement stop as it turned onto Kennedy Blvd. The vehicle fled and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit lasted approximately 6 minutes and ended in the The Village of Oakwood after stop sticks were deployed and the vehicle was immobilized. The driver was taken into custody without incident and the three additional passengers were released on scene.
