Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services (DSSS) customers will now have access to an online payment portal. The agency recently partnered with First Billing Services, a 3rd party billing and payment company, to provide DSSS customers with a convenient and safe online portal. Customers will receive a letter with their next three bills outlining details of the new payment methods. In addition to the online payment option, DSSS customers will also have access to a digital copy of their bill and the option to sign up for text and email reminders.
“Summit County is always looking for ways to expand convenience and ease of access to our interactions with residents,” said Executive Ilene Shapiro. “The new online payment portal will help DSSS customers make payments and manage their account with ease and safety.”
Customers will be able to pay with credit/debit card or e-check. Customer who are already enrolled in the ACH program must contact DSSS directly to cancel prior to the due date to avoid double payments.
