To clear up any confusion, we DO give free estimates. However, due to recent demand, we have started charging to do “new home purchase walk-throughs.” However, upon signing a contract with Velk Construction to complete your project, your “walk through” money will be refunded.
We have come to this decision because we have spent many hours walking through homes with new buyers, researching prices and composing estimates, just to find that the buyer changes their mind on the home, or decides not to do the work – therefore, we are never compensated for our time and knowledge.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we firmly believe that this is the fairest solution for our quickly growing company and our clients that are seeking legitimate quotes.
