An Ashford Glenn resident was startled when she saw a male on her patio going through her patio storage box. The suspect, in his early twenties with sandy brown hair and shirtless, made movement toward the patio door to gain entrance. The started resident immediately called the Sagamore Hills Police, who were on the scene in thirty seconds at 5:17pm. The suspect seeing the resident making the call, took off from the residence on a bike, heading toward the hiking trail. The two Sagamore Hills officers were then joined by members of the Northfield Village, Macedonia and Summit County Sheriff, who arrived within minutes on the scene. The Sagamore Hills Park and the bike trail were canvassed by a total of eight law enforcement personnel, with no arrests made. Ptl Ellis and DeCrane from the Sagamore Hills Police would like to thank the other departments for the prompt mutual aide response to the call as well. The suspect is still at large, and the case is under investigation.
