Councilor Renell Noack, Keith Czerr and Nick Magistrelli voted no. Mayor Jesse Nehez and Police Chief John Zolgus had previously stated they were not in favor of the two firms seeking to open medicinal marijuana facilities along ROUTE 8 in Northfield.
Service Department Report:
The Village of Northfield will be hiring a contractor over the next couple weeks to chip the branches you have down from the November 5th, 2017 storm. The branches must be 6” or less in diameter, placed on the curb for chipping. Please make sure your leaves and branches are in separate piles, make sure that the branches do not go out into the street. If there are branches in the leaf piles they will not be picked up.
Council approved Jason to purchase $49,999.99 a chipper truck/chipper.
