The scrappy Nordonia Knights boys squad came back from a sluggish first quarter, and took charge in the second and third quarters to defeat University School 55-46, at Nordonia Saturday night. The Knights trailed 18-13 after one quarter, and it appeared another loss with looming. The gritty squad came back to tie the game at 26 all at the half. A dominant third quarter by Nordonia, outscoring University School 19-9, proved to be the deciding point of the game. The Knights were led in scoring by Senior guard Mike Piotrowski with 16 points. The balance of the Knights scoring was as follows: Evans-9, Smith-8, Alders and Jones 6 each, Petros-5, Levak -3, J. Jones-2. The Knights, now 3-14 on the season, play at home next Friday against Cuyahoga Falls. Varsity tip off at 7:30pm.
