A few of the highlights: The council was advised that a tenant relocating in the old Dolphin location was seeking a liquor license permit. Council will revisit the request at the first meeting of the year. Also Councilman Keith Czerr observed that fellow council Gary Vojtush left the Council chambers with his tape recorder on (at the last meeting). Previously last year, Vojtush had been censured (see previous story of censure) for the same violation by council. If taping the meeting, a councilman must be present while taping, while having to turn it off when leaving the chambers. Vojtush told NordoniaHills.News that he heard a statement made in the outside chambers by Mayor Nehez, and wanted to address the comment, forgetting to turn the tape recorder off. It is unclear what penalty, if any, will be handed down by fellow council members.
