The 2019 Amateur “Ham” Radio Field Day event held this past weekend in Northfield Center was a great success. With all the necessary equipment set up in the gazebo, local hams (Northfield Center & Sagamore Hills) made verified radio contact with 43 states, including Hawaii, 4 Canadian provinces and 7 countries, including some in northern Africa, South America and the Caribbean islands.
