On May 11th the National Association of Letter Carriers held their 27th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. All residents had to do was leave a bag of non-expired, non-perishable food by their mailbox no later than 8 am. (see related article)
Once again the food drive was successful! They hauled in around 8,000 pounds which was 3,000 pounds more than last year!
It was not an easy task, they had 30 volunteers helping the day of the drive.
Joyce Hunt, the Executive Director, has expressed her gratitude to the Nordonia Community for their generous response.
