A roll-off truck hit the railroad trestle bridge on Highland Road today. According to Macedonia Patrolman Rizzo, the truck had delivered his load in Twinsburg and still had his truck bed elevated when he headed west bound and struck the trestle. The driver only had minor injuries. That section of Highland is near the Twinsburg border and was closed for almost 4 hours. See red dot below.
For those that are interested, this section of the railway system does get a lot of train traffic and is connected to the railroad crossing just east of that spot and also loops around to the railroad below the bridge going west on Highland.
