Obituary: Robert A. Bottomley

Robert A. Bottomley, age 89, of Macedonia passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family Wednesday, October 2, 2019.  Beloved husband of Edna (nee Hollman) Bottomley; loving father of Cynthia (George) Brna, Michele (Carl, Jr.) Ogle, Deborah (James) Schaber, Sherry Phillips and Cheryl (Jack) Kilroy; dear grandfather of 15, great-grandfather of 18, great-great-grandfather of 1 and brother of Donella (Dennis) Laskowsky and the late Roger (Robin, surviving) Bottomley.  Robert served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and was a Tool & Die Maker for Ford Motor Co.  He and Edna loved  to travel and go camping.  The family will receive friends 2-6 PM Sunday at JOHNSON-ROMITO FUNERAL HOME, 99 West Aurora Road (One Mile West of Rt. 8), Northfield Center, OH (330) 468-1443.  Prayers at the funeral home will begin at 10:15 AM Monday, October 7, 2019 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. www.johnsonromito.com
