Macedonia Walmart Soon to Limit Number of Shoppers Store

Changes are being implemented at the Macedonia Walmart for shoppers. They are now tracking the number of shoppers. This is a preliminary procedure and soon they will start counting and limited shoppers in the store. At this time they are thinking of limited the number of shoppers to 100. But this may change.

Macedonia Walmart’s Home Entrance is Now Closed

When you walk into the store now, there is only one entrance open, the grocery side. The home entrance is currently closed. And you must walk in the queue that they have constructed from cones, caution tape and laminated signs reminding you to stay 6 feet way from other shoppers.

This change was ordered by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine: See Amended Stay at Home Order here. “Stores shall determine and enforce the maximum capacity of persons permitted in any store such that at all persons in a store at any one time may safely and comfortably maintain a sixfoot distance from each other. Every store shall prominently display at every entrance the maximum capacity number.”

This new order does not go into effect until Monday, but Walmart is making changes ahead of time.

Some of the departments at the Macedonia Walmart are temporarily closed: the Automotive is closed for now, the optical department is only open for repairing glasses, contact purchases and existing order pickups. Lawn and Garden is closed but if you call you can pick up an order.
