Obituary: Agnes Armstrong

Agnes Armstrong was born on the island of Manhattan, New York, and was raised in the city during the 1930s and 40s. She studied at Florida State University, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Baldwin Wallace University.

Agnes served in the Navy and achieved the rank of E7 Chief Petty Officer, YNC. She helped to establish a local AARP chapter, was a long-time volunteer with the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, and a dedicated and active member of her Sagamore Hills community.

Agnes spent many years traveling the world with her dear friend, Peggy St. Clair and loved entertaining with friends. She was a friend to children and animals and enjoyed spending time with her two beloved cats, Sidney and Charlie. She had a smile that could light up a room.

A private service will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg. In her memory, please donate to your local animal shelter for animal care needs. Arrangements by Ferfolia Funeral Home.
