Five Hits Not Enough For Nordonia Knights To Overtake Hudson

Nordonia Knights out-hit Hudson five to four, but it wasn’t enough in a 5-3 loss on Tuesday

Nordonia Knights captured the lead in the first inning. Jordan Newhouse drew a walk, scoring one run.

Hudson took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Damonte drew a walk, scoring one run and an error scored one run for Hudson.

Floris pitched Hudson to victory. The pitcher went five and a third innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out four. MacKay threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Dominic Perrine took the loss for Nordonia Knights. The lefthander allowed zero hits and three runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Nordonia Knights racked up five hits on the day. Daniel Hanson and Aidan Chilton all collected multiple hits for Nordonia Knights. Hanson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Nordonia Knights in hits.

Hudson stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Prado led the way with three.
