TWINSBURG (APRIL 29, 2019) – Live concerts are coming back to Twinsburg this summer! Rock the Park, presented by Strachan Novak Insurance, makes its official return on Friday, June 11th with Escape – The Journey Tribute. Twinsburg’s Rock the Park has become a summer destination for music fans across the Northeast Ohio area and was certainly missed by concert enthusiasts last year.

Often described as a “Mini-Blossom”, Rock the Park offers an affordable night out with the best bands, beer, wine, and food trucks in a convenient location close to home! Set in the middle of Glenn Chamberlin Park, the Perici Amphitheatre provides a unique, wooded atmosphere with lawn seating. Tickets for the 2021 season go on sale online only at RockTheParkConcert.com beginning Monday, May 3rd. In person sales at the box office will be announced when they become available.

“We’ve all been anxiously waiting for a return to live events and we’re very excited to offer fans the opportunity to see seven exceptional bands on our lineup,” expressed Rock the Park’s Director, Jennifer Betenson. “The 2019 season was a record breaking year for us with multiple sold out crowds and an all- time high in attendance. Tickets and capacity this year will initially be limited, but regardless of the procedures, you’ll get the live bands, food trucks, beer, wine, and atmosphere that our fans love.”

The 2021 lineup includes:

  • Friday, June 11th: Escape – The Journey Tribute Band (Sponsored by: Waste Management)
  • Friday, June 25th: King’s Highway – Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
  • Saturday, July 3rd: Cleveland Pops Orchestra – Fireworks Night (Sponsored by: ChromaScape)
  • Friday, July 9th: Trippin Billies – The Dave Matthews Tribute Band
  • Friday, July 23rd: Wreking Crue – Motley Crue Tribute (Sponsored by: Waste Management)
  • Friday, August 13th: Disco Inferno

“The lineup was assembled with fan favorite in addition to some new bands,” Jennifer explained. “One significant change is that opening acts will no longer be a solo singer or songwriter like we have hosted in the past. Openers will actually be full bands for 2021. Fans may recognize some familiar names like Apostle Jones, The Michael Weber Show, and Diana Chittester, but this time they will be with their full group.”

VIP tickets include access to a private bar, preferred parking, two free drinks, appetizers, and a chair to borrow during the concert.
