The VA will send a representative once a month to The Emergency Assistance Center, located at 9199 Olde Eight Road, Suite C, Northfield, OH 44067.
Friday, September 17, from 11 to 4 will be the first time the representative will be available to enroll veterans for medical benefits. They will also be able to answer questions on all other types of benefits.
Appointments are not necessary but are suggested for shorter wait times. You do not have to be a client of the food pantry in order to see the VA representative.
Appointments can be made by calling The Emergency Assistance Center at 330-467-7945 during operating hours which are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, The Emergency Assistance Center is able to help people apply or renew cash, food or medical assistance through The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Service (ODJFS).
An ODJFS representative is at the food pantry on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are required and can be made by calling The Emergency Assistance Center. It is not necessary to be a client of TEAC.
