Summit County Sheriff’s Office launches new smartphone app

AKRON – Summit County Sheriff Kandy Fatheree is excited to announce the release of a new Sheriff’s Office smartphone application. This app will serve as a new way for the Sheriff’s Office to connect with Summit County residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.

The user-friendly app offers quick access to dozens of items of public interest, such as:

“I am committed to making the Sheriff’s Office a more modern, efficient, and accessible law enforcement organization,” said Sheriff Fatheree. “This app is a great step forward, and will allow us to better serve, protect, and communicate with the entire Summit County community.”

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office mobile app was created by TheSheriffApp.com, a division of OCV, LLC, which specializes in mobile app development for sheriff’s offices and public safety organizations across the country.
