MARY A. YARO (Nee MILKOVICH); 96, Beloved wife of the late John M.; Loving Mom of Dana Yaro- Linderman (late George), John Yaro, and Michele Jennings (late Brett); Mother-in law of Ellen Yaro; Cherished Gramma of John IV, Joseph (Stephany), Jaclyn Tolley (C.J.) and Jillian; Dearest Great- Gramma of Anthony “Ante”, Alyson, Connor, Harper, and Nolan; Dear sister of the late Martha Grabowsky, late Nick and the late Dan; Aunt and great-aunt of many. Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, surrogate mother to many, and friend, Mary’s love was limitless. A voracious reader, she combed through the newspaper four days a week and read several books during the course of a month. Her talented handiwork includes beautiful afghans and lovely scarves crocheted for those dear to her and for St. Joseph House. A wide variety of charities benefited by her philanthropic spirit. On a limited income, she found ways to make several monthly donations. An incredible dancer, Mary loved music of all genres, but none more dear than her beloved Croatian tamburitzan melodies. An organizer, activist, and advocate, she orchestrated a trip to what was then Yugoslavia in 1971 for the Cleveland Junior Tamburitzans, where she proudly watched the group perform throughtout the country. The world has lost a dominant, ethical, empathetic, caring, loving 96.75 year old woman; Heaven has gained a saint! Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD.
