MENACING
Man gets cuffs after employer huff: A man was arrested June 5 just after 7:15 a.m. after driving away from a Ledge Road business under suspicion of possessing a weapon and making threats, according to police. The man had been fired from the company and asked to leave the property. During a verbal altercation with the plant manager the man allegedly threatened to do bodily harm to the former boss. The manager also alleged the ex-employee made threats which led him to believe a gun was present. The ex-employee was also alleged to have made threats towards former coworkers. Police transported the ex-employee to the Macedonia City Jail and charged him with menacing, a fourth-degree felony.Â
Theft
Shop drains oil and allegedly funds: A woman told police on June 6 that she took her vehicle to a mechanic for an oil change the day before. The woman shopped at an adjacent business until work was completed then drove to a part-time job. After returning home she noticed payroll checks were missing from the front seat of the vehicle, according to police Only the envelope that contained the checks was missing, according to the report.Â
