Solutions Behavioral Consulting hosts 11th annual community celebration
Solutions Behavioral Consulting and Solutions Center for Autism will host their 11th Annual Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot at Crow Drive in Macedonia.
The family-friendly Halloween event invites community members to dress up children and join festivities that include treats and trunk displays. Organizers emphasize the event provides a safe, inclusive fall celebration for families in and around the community.
Solutions Behavioral Consulting has provided Applied Behavior Analysis therapy services to children with autism and other special needs since 2008. The organization’s mission focuses on helping individuals of all abilities reach their full potential through evidence-based practices.
Local businesses and community members can participate by hosting decorated trunks, arriving between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for setup. Trunk hosts are encouraged to bring plenty of candy and consider adding fun activities to their displays.
The event serves multiple community purposes including volunteering opportunities, trunk decorating, donations and spreading awareness about autism services. Organizers stress that community involvement makes a difference in creating a welcoming experience for all attendees.
