Nordonia Drama Announces Three-Show Season Starting with Charlie Brown Musical

Nordonia Drama has unveiled its upcoming season featuring three productions that span from beloved musicals to Shakespearean tragedy. The season opens with “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” on October 25-26, followed by “Romeo & Juliet” in December and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” next spring.

The opening production draws from Charles M. Schultz’s iconic “Peanuts” comic strip, following Charlie Brown and his friends through everyday adventures including baseball games, homework struggles and friendship moments. The cast features Ryan Arieta as Charlie Brown, Ezekiel Rayle as Snoopy, Camille Laviano as Lucy van Pelt, Liam Bolling as Linus van Pelt, Beatrice Babloyan as Sally Brown and Xavier Romero as Schroeder.

Director Chris Simmons returns to lead the production with Ryan Dulaney serving as music director and Rachael K Palermo handling choreography.

The season continues with Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” December 5-7, featuring Ezekiel Rayle and Katie Hersh in the title roles. Chris Simmons and Julia Dulaney will direct the 17-member cast in the classic tale of star-crossed lovers from feuding Verona families.

The season concludes with “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” April 17-19, 2026.

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” performances are scheduled for Saturday, October 25 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, October 26 at 3 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Tickets cost $12 and are available through Hometown Ticketing online or at the door beginning one hour before showtime.
