SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio – The Sagamore Hills Police Department responded to a variety of incidents during the first three weeks of January 2026, ranging from animal complaints and theft to assault, fraud, and property damage.
Disorderly Conduct Incident on Holzhauer Road
Early morning on January 3, at approximately 12:07 a.m., Sagamore Hills Police responded to a disturbance in the area of Holzhauer Road and Greenwood Parkway. Officers arrived and addressed the disorderly conduct complaint, with the incident cleared by 1:15 a.m.
Dog at Large on Glencrest Road
Officers responded to an ongoing complaint of a dog at large on Glencrest Road on January 3. The incident was reported and documented by responding officers.
Property Damage Incident on Eaton Drive
On January 2, officers responded to a property damage complaint on Eaton Drive. The incident involved a vehicle and was cleared the same day.

On January 10, a resident reported a theft of a Dell laptop computer from Brandywine Ski Resort on West Highland Road. The incident occurred between January 9-10 and was documented by officers.

Domestic Dispute on Smithfield Drive
On January 11, officers responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on Smithfield Drive. Multiple officers responded to the incident, which was cleared by 10:08 a.m.
Mailbox Damaged on Southridge Road
On January 11, Sagamore Hills Police received a call regarding property damage to a brick mailbox valued at $1,000 on Southridge Road. The incident was documented by officers.
Injured Opossum Dispatched on Seiberling Drive
On January 10, Sagamore Hills Police officers were dispatched to Seiberling Drive to dispatch an injured opossum. Officers responded to the animal complaint and cleared the incident.
