SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio – The Sagamore Hills Police Department handled several service calls between March 12 and March 16, 2026, involving incidents of property damage, telecommunications harassment, and multiple reports of fraud. These cases, occurring throughout the Nordonia Hills area, highlight ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to address both physical and digital offenses within the community.

Police Respond to Property Damage on Greenwood Parkway

On the night of Thursday, March 12, 2026, Sagamore Hills officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Village Club Drive and Greenwood Parkway following a report of a damaged sign. According to the incident report, the damage was discovered around 10:21 PM. Ptl. Terrance Wilson Jr. arrived on the scene at 10:37 PM to document the damaged property. While a person was identified as being involved in the incident, the report primarily focused on the damaged infrastructure in the residential area.

Telecommunications Harassment Reported on Republic Drive

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, a resident of Republic Drive contacted the Sagamore Hills Police Department to report a case of telecommunications harassment. The victim stated that the harassment had been occurring since March 9. Ptl. Ryan Shelby took the official report at approximately 10:01 AM at the victim’s single-family home. The investigation involved an additional individual identified as being related to the incident, though no immediate arrests were noted in the initial filing.

Multiple Fraud Investigations at Sagamore Hills Police Station

Financial crimes were a significant focus for the department during the middle of March.

  • Shorthorn Drive Incident: On March 14, officers took an “on station” report regarding fraud involving residents of Shorthorn Drive. The incident allegedly began on the afternoon of March 13. Ptl. Ryan Shelby documented the details of the fraudulent activity.

  • Valley View Road Incident: On Monday, March 16, 2026, another report of fraud was filed at the Sagamore Hills Police station located on Valley View Road. The reporting party, a resident of Spring Creek Road, met with Ptl. Christina Meyers at 10:45 AM to report a fraud incident that dated back to March 3.
