Northfield Village Firefighters Stop Early Morning House Fire

Northfield Village, Ohio — Quick action by the Northfield Village Fire Department and neighboring agencies prevented a residential fire from escalating early Wednesday morning.

At approximately 2:29 a.m., fire crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Vincent Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames venting from the front of the residence.

Incident Highlights:

  • Rapid Response: Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior attack, achieving a “quick knockdown” and bringing the blaze under control shortly after arrival.
  • Safe Evacuation: Three occupants were inside the home when the fire broke out; fortunately, all three evacuated safely before emergency crews arrived.
  • No Casualties: There were no reported injuries to civilians or responding personnel.
  • Mutual Aid: The Northfield Village Fire Department was supported on-scene by the Macedonia, Oakwood, and Twinsburg Fire Departments, along with Hudson EMS.
