Domestic Violence Arrest on Dunham Road

Sagamore Hills officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on June 1 after a woman came directly to the police station to file a report. The incident was linked to a residence on Dunham Road.

A 23-year-old Mogadore man was arrested in connection with the complaint. He was charged with domestic violence under Ohio Revised Code 2919.25A. Officers Christopher Danko, Christopher Salveter and William Ryan responded. The case was referred to arrest number A2427.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest at The Basement Sports Bar and Grill

Shortly after 1 a.m. on June 7, five Sagamore Hills officers were dispatched to The Basement Sports Bar and Grill at 480 W. Aurora Road for a reported disturbance.

A 25-year-old Seville woman was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under ORC 2917.11. A Twinsburg woman was listed as the victim in the incident. Officers Chris Danko, William Ryan, Alex Clapper, Richard Quintrell and Craig Wilson all responded to the scene.

Juvenile Driver Strikes Four Mailboxes on Nesbitt Road

A juvenile driver struck a cluster of four mailboxes on June 8 along Nesbitt Road, causing damage to the mailboxes and to her vehicle. Four Nesbitt Road residents were listed as victims of property damage. Officers Vicki Miavitz and Dan DeCrane responded to the scene. The vehicle involved was a 2013 red Ford four-door.

Welfare Check at Marc’s Grocery Store

Just after 6 a.m. on May 31, police were called to Marc’s grocery store at 550 W. Aurora Road after a store employee reported a 23-year-old woman asking for help at the front entrance. Officers Victoria Miavitz and Dan DeCrane responded and cleared the scene by 6:43 a.m. The incident was classified as a welfare check.

Fraud Complaint Filed on Carlin Drive

On June 3, a Sagamore Hills resident came to the police department to file a fraud report. Sgt. Ken Wolf and Officer Robert Patterson handled the call. The incident was classified as informational.

Suspicious Activity at Majestic Care

Officers responded to Majestic Care at 997 W. Aurora Road on June 3 for a report of suspicious activity. The call was received just before 8 a.m. and cleared within approximately 50 minutes. Officers Dan DeCrane and Robert Patterson responded.

Late Night Disturbance on Cricket Lane

Police were dispatched to Cricket Lane just after 2 a.m. on May 30 for a report of a disturbance at a residential home. Three officers responded: Chris Salveter, Chris Danko and Christina Meyers. The matter was cleared as informational.

Lost Property Reported on Timberline Trail

On June 2, officers were dispatched to Timberline Trail for a report of lost property. The incident was reported around 7:30 p.m. and cleared as informational. Officers Chris Danko and William Ryan handled the call.

Unwanted Phone Calls Reported on Charlotte Drive

A Charlotte Drive resident filed a complaint with police on June 5 regarding unwanted phone calls. The matter was handled by Officer Ryan Shelby and classified as informational.
