Jon Young talks about how he got arrested for aggravated robbery back in 2012. How did he get to the point where he was “going on missions for his dope man”. And more importantly, how did he get out of that dark place?
It all started with Jon smoking pot with his friends. Jon takes us through his journey and talks about being addicted to cocaine and heroin at a young age. He still remembers the robberies he committed in detail and describes getting arrested with a team of police officers in his face.
Once incarcerated he outlines moving through the system. Gangs and drugs in prison are not just on the tv shows we watch. Once there, it took years, but he finally was able to get to a good place, find himself and get clean.
Jon is under house arrest now and wants to tell his story to help other people and show them that there is hope.
