I just wanted to say that over the past three weeks it has been a blessing getting to work with so many nice people who helped put the Alan Freed Memorial on the map. First of all the entire Freed family has been so great to work with especially Lance. Their smiles. The hugs from everyone. The stories about Alan. And their great hospitality was so nice. And thank you Rich Spina, Jim Toncar, Dawn Saddler, Rich at Vertical Sound and Stage, Carolyn Travis, Deanna Adams, Tom Ferran, Ron Watts, my radio Friends Norm N. Nite and most of all Chris Blackfire for making this happen. And to all those people that drove or flew in from different States to be there. and all of those who sang and talk to us from there hearts about Alan made this an event that I will never forget.
Here is the press release about the event in case you missed it.
