On May 29, at 9:20 PM, an armed robbery occurred at a gas station located at 70 E. Aurora Road in Northfield Center Township. Two males entered the store wearing masks and brandishing firearms. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled westbound on foot. A third male was observed running with them.
A K-9 unit from the Macedonia Police Department and Macedonia Officers assisted Sheriff’s Deputies in searching the area. The clerk was not injured. Summit County Detectives are investigating.
