In May of 2020, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office received complaints in regards to high vehicle traffic at a residence located on Beechnut Drive in the City of Green. A criminal investigation was conducted by the Sheriff’s Detective Bureau in regards to illegal gambling and drugs. On May 9, 2020, a search warrant was executed at the above residence. Gambling equipment, Unites States currency, a firearm, and suspected illegal drugs were located and seized from the residence.
Adam Syed, age 37 of Green was arrested for Gambling (F-5) and Operating a Gaming House (F-5). Syed was transported to the Summit County Jail.
