Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights defeated Rootstown 10-4 on Thursday thanks in part to six runs in the third inning. an error scored one run, #7 induced Hailey Yurmanovich to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, an error scored two runs, and Laura Garey singled, scoring two runs.
Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to two singles. Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights first got on the board when Amy Haselow singled, scoring one run.
Rootstown took the lead in the top of the third inning after #17 singled up the middle, #28 grounded out, and Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights committed an error, each scoring one run.

The pitcher gave up eight hits and four runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out two and walking one. #7 took the loss for Rootstown. The starter went three and one-third innings, allowing eight runs (two earned) on 10 hits, striking out four and walking three.
