Summit County Engineer announces culvert replacement project in Northfield Center
Summit County Engineer Alan Brubaker announced a 12-day closure of Boyden Road beginning Wednesday, July 9. The closure affects the section between Meadowview Drive and McNeil Drive in Northfield Center.
The closure is necessary for removal and replacement of an existing culvert and associated headwalls. Work will also include placement of rock channel protection at the outlet and repairs to roadside ditches.
Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained during construction. A detour route has been established using West Aurora Road (State Route 82) to Brandywine Road to Highland Road.
