Speaker Series Presented by Partnership between Kent State University Twinsburg Academic Center and the Twinsburg and Nordonia Hills Chambers of Commerce

TWINSBURG/NORDONIA – The Business Leadership Training (BLT) is a partnership between Kent State Twinsburg Academic Center and the Twinsburg and Nordonia Hills Chambers of Commerce. The BLT bi-monthly programming is free and open to the public.

The second program of 2021 is titled Leading Your Remote Workforce During the Pandemic and is scheduled via Zoom on Thursday, March 18, from noon – 1 PM. Dr. Sean Ratican (faculty, Kent State Trumbull) and Dr. Bob Antenucci (faculty, Kent State Geauga and Twinsburg) will facilitate a conversation about how the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has systemically changed the workplace of most businesses. Many employees started to work from home for the first time in 2020, and as the new year unfolds, that reality could be the new norm. Business leaders face the challenge of ensuring their workforce is effective, efficient, and happy through a consistent corporate culture and support. The presentation will focus on how organizational leaders can continue to manage remote workers by focusing on motivation, communication, and job satisfaction in the new era of Zoom.

The next presentation is scheduled for Thursday, May 27, from noon – 1 PM. David Rust of Coaching Solutions, LLC will discuss the DiSC leadership assessment tool, understand attendees’ own style, identify the DiSC style of others, and utilize DiSC to strengthen relationships.

Registration is required. Please visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/blt-leading-your-remote-workforce-during-the-pandemic-tickets-136622779411 to register and receive the Zoom link.
