Last night at 1:24 am a 17 year old from Hudson removed the barricade from the Twinsburg Road railroad crossing. He then attempted to drive across and got stuck. Then, along came a train and totaled the car. The driver was able to get out in time. It was also reported that another person was in the car and was able to get out.

The tracks at Twinsburg road has been barricaded for awhile because they are replacing the tracks. The car was caught at the tracks due to the repair work. A 6 inch section of the track was missing.

The pictures that you see here are construction pictures taken this morning. Once they removed the vehicle, there was no damage to the tracks.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.
