Chamber Chatter 1-5-18 – Presentation on Setting Goals and Expo Info

2018 – Finally!  Did you lose your way in 2017?  Looking forward to the “new” in the new year?  Attend our Jan. 11 Chamber meeting where Christine Vodicka (College Colleagues) will help you move your goals within sight.  Her presentation “Ready? Set. Goals!”  is just what you need to motivate you in the right direction.  We are also honored to have Mayor Jesse Nehez (Northfield Village) install the 2018 NHOCC Board of Directors.  Set your phone (or computer) to remind you – Thursday, Jan 11 – 11:30 – 1:00 at Spennato’s Ristorante in Northfield Village.  Please rsvp to 330-467-8956.  Admission includes lunch:  $15 for Chamber members; $20 for future Chamber members!

Building your business is a marathon – not a sprint!  Let’s team up!  Reserve your booth now for the March 24 NHCOC Community Expo and let us help you get to the finish line.  Raffles, entertainment, food court, and business displays – all under one roof (Nordonia High School) from 9-3:30.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our local businesses to show their newest products and offer “Expo specials” to the community.  If you haven’t registered yet, it’s time!

Don’t miss this opportunity to build relationships with over 80+ other businesses and to promote your product or services to over 3,000 Expo attendees.  Don’t be a spectator – be a participant!    Face-to-face exposure will earn you new customers and clients – not just “likes” and “shares”.  Included with each booth is a 6’ table, 2 chairs, back curtain, table covering and skirting, a listing on the Chamber web site and in the special section of the March 21 NewsLeader – even coffee and a doughnut to start your day and a Vendor’s Lounge to rest those feet!  If your business wants to be a part of this annual event, call the Chamber Office (330-467-8956) or check out the web site for specifics.  Register today and allow us to begin promoting your business.

Reinecker’s Bakery and Party Center will be the sole provider for the Expo food court this year.  And for the Expo Vendors – a chance to put your feet up, away from the crowds.  The Teacher’s Lounge will morph into a Vendor’s Lounge for the day. We haven’t confirmed our sponsor yet, but at the very least we will offer you coffee, doughnuts, and quiet!

Hats off to our first 2018 Expo sponsor – Sohar’s All Season Mower Service is a Gold Sponsor!  UH Ahuja will again offer health testing as they have in past years.  For a full list of Expo vendors, go to www.nordoniahillschamber.org

The Scholarship Committee, chaired by April Thomas, Panda Promotions, is collecting prizes for the 2018 Scholarship Raffle!  The Scholarship Pick-a-Prize Raffle will take place at our Annual Community EXPO, scheduled for 3:30Saturday, March 24 at Nordonia High School.  We are asking for donations valued at $100 or more in goods or service and hope that you can help us.  Remember, by donating you will receive advertising and marketing for your business at no additional cost.  Your name will appear in our advertising and in the Chamber Chatter section in the newspaper.  For more information or to schedule a pick-up, contact April at 216-505-7600 or athomas@pandapromosinc.com. Prizes can also be dropped off at the Chamber Office (159 E. Aurora, Northfield – lower level, the rear of the Lake Pointe building).
